Sutton Grammar School

In December, an ambitious group of sixth-form Computer Science students participated in the 2024 British Algorithmic Olympiad. The British Algorithmic Olympiad (BAO) is a competition for UK school students that combines elements of Mathematics and Computer Science, testing their problem-solving, logical thinking, and programming skills through a single exam, allowing students to explore their interests in both subjects without requiring extensive prior programming knowledge; it is aimed at students up to Year 13 level.

The SGS CS department would like to express our congratulations to the following medalled students:

Sirius Chan - GOLD

Zak Boukhaima - SILVER

Iestyn Ellwood-Thompson - BRONZE

Bianca Ivanova - BRONZE

Hailey Ng - BRONZE
