During the July CCF Summer Camp, cadets had the opportunity to use the new laser tag equipment funded through the PTA’s generous support. With a heatwave affecting the camp and preventing any live or blank firing activities, the new equipment ensured that training exercises could continue uninterrupted. Cadets quickly embraced the challenge and made excellent use of the laser tag system throughout the week.

The camp concluded another highly successful year for the SGS CCF, with promotions awarded, achievements recognised and thanks given to the officer team and Year 13 cadets whose leadership and dedication helped make the year such a memorable one. It was a fitting end to a year characterised by camaraderie, commitment and spirit.
