UKMT Junior Maths Challenge – outstanding results!

We are thrilled to celebrate the incredible achievements of our Year 7 and 8 students in this year’s UKMT Junior Mathematical Challenge! This national competition, run by the UK Mathematics Trust, encourages students to apply logical reasoning and creative problem-solving in a fun and engaging way.

Initial Challenge (JMC) Results:

  • 171 Gold Certificates

Special congratulations to Alexander Apoolingum, Ben Laferton and Sergius Leung, who scored full marks and shared the Best in School title!

  • 80 Silver Certificates
  • 23 Bronze Certificates
  • 131 students qualified for the Junior Kangaroo
  • 7 students qualified for the Junior Mathematical Olympiad (JMO)

These results are a testament to the enthusiasm and mathematical talent of our students. We are so proud of everyone who took part.
