On Thursday 23rd April, the art department took 30 students from year 8 & 9 to the extraordinary art installation exhibition at the Hayward Gallery ‘Chiharu Shiota: Threads of Life and Yin Xiuzhen: Heart to Heart‘ at the South Bank Centre. It was a beautiful day and the group enjoyed this thought-provoking art installation exhibition about relationships to the material and spiritual. We also enjoyed drawing 'en plein air' for an hour at the South Bank Riverside.
