Our School is getting ready to celebrate World Book Day 2026 in style!  We have lots of exciting events happening after half term:

2nd March: Author visit by Ele Fountain will be visiting our school.

3rd March: “Wall of Fame,” author gallery walk will be open around the library for students to enjoy. 

5th March: World Book Day, the school will have a mufti-day. Students can wear their favourite colours (not a dress up), in exchange for a £2 donation via ParentPay. Money raised will be donated to Doorstep Library, a reading charity for children, dedicated to bringing the magic of books and the joy of reading directly into the homes of children who need support.

Our Masked Reader video will be launched during break times and form times for students to guess who is behind the mask?

World Book Day Tokens are available in our school library and online to download now.  Year 7 will be enjoying FREE world book day mini books to take home and read.  Please ask your child which one they chose?
