Sutton Grammar Golf Society: Annual Golf Day – Thursday 11th June 2026

Come and compete for the Maestro Cup (in memory of Philip J Donnelly (1950-1995) and for the Ada Wilder Cup in memory of Adrian Wilder (1950-2007).

Location: Cuddington Golf Club

Cost: £110 to include round of golf (afternoon tee times), two course meal with coffee, drinks tab, prizes (stableford singles, par 3 best gross, nearest pin, longest drive).

The friends of Phil Donnelly have been competing annually for thirty years for the main cup and we would like to broaden the appeal to all golfers associated with Sutton Grammar School (alumni, staff, sports club members, parents and supporters).

Sport is a significant contributor to lifelong friendships and we know of several groups of friends who have played Old Sutts sports who meet regularly to play golf together. The handicap system makes it possible for players of all ages and abilities to compete together.

We would like to grow this annual golf day, competing each year for the main cup in memory of Phil Donnelly. We have reserved 40 places (so far) so guarantee your place by sending an email to gordonironside@suttongrammar.school in order to reserve a place or to express your interest.

He will reserve your place and then ask you for a £20 deposit. We hope to establish a WhatsApp group for this event (and other Suttonian golfing events).

Please include the following information in your email:
