Chocolate making, a day full of fun and delicious chocolate. Who wouldn’t want to do Design and Technology for the whole day? The process started with research. We all had to gather ideas and choose one to develop. Next, we drew our initial designs onto our medium density fibreboard (MDF), ready to be cut. Sawing and filing for over an hour was difficult but we persevered as it was all for chocolate! After “slightly” messing up my design, it was ready to be vacuum formed and have the melted chocolate poured into the moulds. In the afternoon we designed and made packaging to store our chocolates. Mr Brown gave all of our moulds back and now it was finally time for chocolate. So, after a day of hard work, we were rewarded with our specially designed chocolates, moulds and packaging.
