On Wednesday, 25 June we hosted our now annual Higher Education and Careers afternoon for Year 12 students. A huge thanks to the nearly 60 volunteers we had in to speak to students, made up of our alumni and friends of the school. The afternoon was a huge success, with conversation buzzing in the days after the event about the conversations that students had with individuals about their educational and professional journeys. The opportunity for students to have these interactions proves invaluable each year in helping students to make informed decision about the decisions they have in front of them, and to inspire them to go on to great things by seeing role models who have already done so. Alongside this, it was a wonderful opportunity for our former students and friends of the school to catch up with staff and to reminisce about their days at SGS. 

We once again thank our volunteers for their time, and look forward to running this event again in the future.
