We said goodbye to our wonderful Year 13s at the Leavers Dinner on a glorious summer’s evening at Northey Avenue. The event, which is sponsored by the Old Suttonians Association, was a great chance for pupils and teachers to reminisce about their time at the school. It is a testament to the year group that the event was so well-attended, with the most students and staff we have ever seen since hosting this event in the marquee at Northey.

There were speeches by students, who fondly recalled their journey at the school and by their outgoing Head of Sixth Form, Mr Marris. There was also a tribute to Mr Gunning, who is retiring this year and has done so much, for so many over his time at the school. There were also splendid musical performances from The Year 13 Band and Roopal Chakraborty on keys.

Year 13 – you are a fantastic cohort and we hope you have a brilliant summer.
