House Chess

House chess has begun in earnest this term and Manor House has dominated so far. Year 8 was especially exciting with Greyhound making a last minute bid for the top spots. Only half a point separated all three of the year 8 top teams! Overall House Chess results so far:

  1. Manor
  2. Lenham
  3. Greyhound
  4. Throwley
  5. Warwick

B and C team dominate Briant Poulter West Division

The season for competitive chess is now over. Well done for all the students who competed and who won trophies.

A team: a respectable finish considering the fact that it was an incredibly hard league! Well done especially to our new Year 7 player, Ashwath Kota who won 'Player of the Year' for SGS.

B team dominated the league, 6 points clear of second place. C team very narrowly missed out on 2nd position, ending in 3rd.
