As we begin life without our Year 13 students in school, we can look back with great fondness at their time school, rounded off by an excellent last week. Through the yearbook, Leavers’ Assembly, mufti days and Leavers’ Day itself, students marked their final days of Year 13 in style.
The final assembly included student and staff selected awards, a selection of speeches, and an excellent musical introduction by Pablo. This was followed by Leavers’ Day on Wednesday 7th, where students arrived to school dressed in a range of interesting attire, inspired by their lower school games kit. Met with the long-awaited yearbook, crafted wonderfully by Mia Drzaic, students were able to ask their friends and tutors to write leaving messages, as a wonderful memento they will be able to keep for years to come. Following this, students enjoyed music, games, two inflatable assault courses and the occasional water fight for the two hours that followed in what was a truly celebratory atmosphere. Finished with pizza and drinks and an ice cream or two, the morning was one that we hope all students enjoyed.
We wish all Year 13 the best of luck in their exams, and look forward to seeing them in school in the weeks ahead to revise, prepare and sit their papers.
With best wishes,
Mr Marris
