World Book Day at SGS

29 Mar 2025
Sutton Grammar School

SGS marked World Book Day with a mufti day and a Masked Reader event. Year 7 students received free World Book Day books and £1 book tokens, adding to the day’s literary spirit.

Author Matt Dickinson made the occasion truly unforgettable by joining us and sharing his thrilling experiences of climbing Mount Everest. Students also had the fantastic opportunity to get their books signed by him.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Matt for visiting SGS and making WBD 2025 such a memorable event!

Our school library holds multiple copies of Matt Dickinson’s books, including Mortal Chaos (Book One), The Everest Files, and Lie, Kill, Walk Away, with additional copies available on SORA.
