Intermediate Mathematical Challenge 2025: A Triumph for Our Students!

We are thrilled to share the outstanding achievements of our students in the Intermediate Mathematical Challenge 2025! This year, around 240 students from Years 9 to 11 participated, demonstrating their problem-solving skills and mathematical excellence.

Only the top-scoring 50% of participants were awarded Bronze, Silver and Gold certificates in the ratio 3:2:1 Their hard work and dedication paid off with an incredible 118 Gold Certificates, 87 Silver Certificates, and 29 Bronze Certificates awarded. This is a testament to their talent and perseverance in tackling complex mathematical challenges.

Furthermore, 40% of students qualified for the follow-on rounds:

  • 10 students for the Mathematical Olympiads
  • 27 students for the Grey Kangaroo
  • 58 students for the Pink Kangaroo

Special congratulations to our top performers:

Best in School and Year 10: Charlie Schutte (10M) – achieved full marks!

  • Best in Year 9: Jeremy Lan (9L)
  • Best in Year 11: Hugh Bacon (11G) and Aman Chandel (11G)
