On Wednesday 15th April, the annual Old Sutts vs Sutton Grammar School fixtures took place at Northey. It is always a joy to see the energetic current students taking the game to the seasoned pros (some more seasoned than others) of the Old Sutts.
It has been a long time since the school picked up a victory in these ties but Mr Brown’s school 2nd XI turned over the Old Sutts team on the night for a famous victory. In the other games, it was business as usual for OSFC.
Scores:
OSFC 1st XI 4 – 1 SGS 1st XI
OSFC 2nd XI 2 – 4 SGS 2nd XI
OSFC 3rd XI 6 – 0 SGS 3rd XI
OSFC 4th XI 3 – 0 SGS 4th XI
After the matches, the senior school players of the year were presented with their awards and all enjoyed pizza.
This evening also provides many Old Sutts with the opportunity to catch up with their peers and relive past glories with Messrs Bangs and Blunt. Thank you to all the players, staff, referees and supporters who make School and Old Sutts football happen.
