We organise many gatherings and fundraising events throughout the year. Everyone can play an active part in the life of the PTA. We take pride in our important role of supporting the School in delivering an excellent education to students and developing the School community.

With the increasing squeeze on school budgets, our fundraising is ever more important. Have a look at the 'Use of Funds' section to see how we have provided funding for projects.

The Sutton Grammar School PTA is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation and follows the 'Association' Model Constitution.

Throughout the School, there is a system of SGSPTA Year Rep Teams. These are parent volunteers (1 or more per Form) who offer to help arrange/advertise social activities for parents in their son’s Form, and the year as a whole. They may hold a get together at a local restaurant, or even a picnic in a park.

Don't feel that you have to be present at SGSPTA meetings to join in the fun or to help - just come along to one of our many organised events during the year or respond to a call for volunteers. If you would like to come along, we meet once each half-term - your chance to help decide where our funds are directed and to gain an extra insight into the School's future plans.
