Well done to the A-level and GCSE Drama students

26 Apr 2024
Sutton Grammar School

The A-level and GCSE Drama students have had a busy term and both cohorts have now completed their final practical exam. The A-level students performed their own original devised piece as well as extracts from East by Steven Berkoff and Dry Powder by Sarah Burgess (pictured above). These were performed to a small audience of staff and students, as well as a visiting examiner, who came to support them and they did an amazing job.

The GCSE students performed two extracts of Nikolai Gogol's The Government Inspector to a visiting examiner for their assessment (pictured below). For all students across the year, this was a culmination of many months of hard work.

All students involved across GCSE and A-level worked so incredibly hard and I could not be prouder of what they achieved but also how maturely and consistently they applied themselves. Excellent job everyone!
