On Thursday, 15 March eight of our Year 8 and Year 9 students took part in the National Reading Champions Quiz 2024, run by the National Literacy Trust.
The National Reading Champions Quiz Regional Heat was an online event, with the students competing in a team against other schools within Southwest London. There were 8 rounds in the quiz, all with book related questions. The quiz consists of 75 questions divided across eight categories. Each category had a different theme and a variety of question formats.
It was a fun quiz and a great opportunity for our students to show off the fantastic book knowledge they have.
Our teams did very well representing our school. Team B, scoring 52 out of 75, was placed joint 6th; while Team A, scoring 46, was joint 14th out of a total of 20 teams.
Well done to all the students who took part.
