We began our latest project in late September once we were all easing back into school, when we had our first history club meeting. There were many options of tasks to choose from. In the end we collectively chose to recreate historical armor.

Over the next 8 weeks all the groups planned, designed and built their choice of armor. My group's choice was Spartan armor. We were judged on creativity, historical accuracy and our emblem. While it was clear some groups had the advantage of a 3D printer, it was amazing to see the level of effort and creativity in these armors.

In the end my group consisting of: Jake Hewitson, Eddy Lomas and Sarvagan Prakash won with our 100% cardboard Spartan armor. This competition was so much fun and I would really encourage all of you to come over to room 47 on a Friday lunchtime and check out this amazing club!
