On 10th February, our Oxbridge co-ordinator, Mrs McDonald, accompanied twenty one students from Year 12 on a visit to our link college, Queen's, at the University of Oxford.  As well as tours of the city centre and the college itself, the students attended a taster session in one of three subject areas, before being presented with advice on how best to make a competitive application to university.   Students shared a lunch in the college's splendid dining hall and also had the opportunity to speak with undergraduates currently studying at Queen's.

The visit proved extremely beneficial, both in terms of helping our students to identify some of the possible opportunities available in Higher Education, as well as raising aspirations.
