We are delighted to celebrate the exceptional achievements of our students in the UKMT British Mathematical Olympiad Round 1 (BMO1). This prestigious competition is one of the most challenging mathematics contests in the UK, designed to test deep problem-solving skills and creative mathematical thinking.
This year, Adam Wiechecki (13Z, pictured left) and Hailey Ng (13B, pictured middle) were awarded the highly coveted Certificate of Distinction, placing them among the top performers nationwide. In addition, Charlie Schutte (11M, pictured right) earned a Certificate of Merit—a remarkable accomplishment, especially for a younger competitor in such an advanced field.
We are incredibly proud of their outstanding performance and of the way they have represented our school with such distinction. Congratulations!
