On Thursday, 9 October, the Year 13 English Literature class enjoyed a thrilling performance of Agatha Christie's cosy crime "whodunit": Death on the Nile. As Crime Literature makes up 40% of this A-level, it was a no-brainer to go and check out the world's best detective, Hercule Poirot, who - despite a rather lacklustre moustache - put in a typically humorous, yet volatile performance. The production features five very loud gun shots, and each one elicited screams and gasps from the Richmond audience, who struggled to not spill or drop their glasses or ice cream tubs.
