Headteacher's Award

20 May 2025
Sutton Grammar School

The Headteacher's Awards are presented termly to students who have demonstrated one of the school’s values: Excellence, Integrity, Kindness and Community.

Many congratulations to Connor, Lavinia, Lincoln and Edwin, who received awards at the end of last term. Below are the values they exemplified and the reasons for their nominations:

For Excellence - Connor McCullagh

For his academic achievements, representing the school at the highest level in competitions, his commitment to the smooth running of CCF and to future generations academic success through his tutoring.

For Integrity - Lavinia Zimarino

For having the integrity to speak up even when it is difficult to do so.

For Kindness - Lincoln Chow

Lincoln is the epitome of kindness and he demonstrates this in all his interactions. He always shows thought and empathy for others, and goes out of his way to express thanks to staff for supporting him. He is a student whom both staff and students alike think of in the highest regard.

For Community - Edwin Cross

For his ongoing service to the school, through his commitment to supporting the Wimbledon Ball Boy trials for the last two years. Without his dedication the school would not be anywhere near as successful with applicants.
