Sutton Grammar School |
In a summer packed with European Championship football and an Olympic Games, there is still one competition that reigns supreme – the Sutton Grammar School House Shield. Over the last ten months, all five Houses have battled it out in many arenas: our Northey playing fields, the Physics labs and even on the chess boards of SGS. And after the straining of every sinew and synapse, the results are now in. And the winners are:
CHAMPIONS: Throwley (241.5)
2nd: Warwick (232.5)
3rd: Manor (217)
4th: Greyhound (205)
5th: Lenham (183)
From zeroes to heroes! Throwley have turned a last place finish last year into an inaugural House Shield crown in their seventh year. The first cohort of the orange army, who began in 2017, do not leave school without tasting victory. Congratulations to Mrs Harris and her students!
